How to get rid of sun tan and to get Glowing Skin !!!

Do you know??? SunTan is actually good for your skin?? Yes, it is,,when your skin is exposed to sunlight, melanin is produced in the skin to protect itself from the harmful ultra-violet (UV) rays of the sun. Since melanin determines the color of the skin, an excess of it will darken your skin color and thats the reason why your skin turns dark! uff!! But Among we girls who is ready to take Tanning heartily??? No one I hope!!

Oh come-on Girls!! we have such a lot of creams and stuff's to protect us from the so-called UV rays!! But are they worth enough to prevent you from getting dark?? I can hear to pupil tell a BIG NO.....

Suntan, once acquired, may not be easy to get rid of. However, here are a few Home made tips that you can follow to lighten,or remove the tan completely

Formula 1: Mix yoghurt with lemon juice and apply it on your skin daily before bath. This will help you to lighten your skin color considerably.

Formula 2: Apply cucumber juice on your face to improve your skin tone. You can also rub freshly cut slices of cucumber on your skin.

Formula 3: You can also add on few drops of potato juice or tomato juice with formula one and two for better results

Formula 4: Aloe vera gel is another good treatment for sun tanned skin. Apply aloe vera gel on your skin regularly to help soothe the skin and help it remain hydrated.

Formula 5: Mix turmeric powder with yoghurt and honey to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on your skin and leave it for about 15-20 minutes before washing it off with cold water.

Formula 6: Make a paste by mixing sandalwood powder with coconut oil and almond oil. Apply this paste on your skin and leave it for about half an hour before washing off with cold water.

Formula 7: A good exfoliating scrub can be easily made by mixing dried and powdered orange peels in yoghurt. Apply this yoghurt-orange peel scrub on your skin and leave it for about half an hour. Not only will this paste act as a natural bleach, but it will also help scrub away the dead cells from your skin surface, resulting in a fresh and glowing skin.

Formula 8: Another quick exfoliating scrub can be prepared by adding a few drops of milk to spoonfuls of sugar until they form a thick paste.

Besides these skin care tips for removing tan, you should also follow a few preventive measures to protect your skin properly. Avoid exposing your skin to direct sunlight especially in the peak period of the day- the afternoon. Wear protective clothing and apply sunscreen lotion (with an appropriate sun protection factor) before you go out in the direct sunlight.

Get ready to make your skin "Glow"!!

You need:*castor oil *mustard oil *olive oil

All you have to do is apply the mix into your hair, then wrap it up in a towel and let it set for thirty minutes. You definitely want to shampoo when you wash it out!

2. PAPAYA HAIR PACK

You need: *Ripe Papaya-1cube *Plain yogurt or curd-1/2 cup

For this pack, obviously, you need a papaya, a very ripe one. get rid of the skin and the seeds, then blend it until it's pulpy. add in half a cup of plain yogurt and mix again. That's all you need to do! Once it's mixed, massage it into your hair, parting it carefully, and let it stay on for 30 minutes , then rinse it out.

3.
.HIBISCUS EGG SHAMPOO

You need: *Hibiscus petals-1 flower *Egg-1

For this treatment, all you need is an ounce of SHOEFLOWER or HIBISCUS petals, preferably fresh, a pint of hot water, and one egg. Steep the petals in the hot water for about 20 minutes, then let it cool. Once it's cooled down, beat your egg into it, then massage the mix into your hair and rinse, just as you would do with a regular shampoo.

4. CREAM TREATMENT:

You need:*Cream *Milk

Do this treatment after you've shampooed,  you need to mix a tablespoon of heavy cream into half a cup of milk. Beat it thoroughly, then massage it into your hair, especially the ends. You only need to leave it for about 15 minutes, and then rinse it out! This acts like your hair conditioner.

5. AVOCADO

You need:*Avocado *Olive oil

Mash up an avocado and, after getting your hair a bit damp, massage the fruit into your hair. Make sure you get your split ends coated. Let it set for anywhere between 15 minutes and half an hour, then rinse it out. You can add a tablespoon of olive oil for some extra sheen, if you like.

Beauty and Belle: To have lovely looking hair, from the moment you w...: NOW YOU CAN HAVE GREAT HAIR FROM THE MOMENT YOU WAKE UP!! Confused???Then read more......                                            ...

To have lovely looking hair, from the moment you wake up is not a nightmare anymore!!!!!!

NOW YOU CAN HAVE GREAT HAIR FROM THE MOMENT YOU WAKE UP!!

Confused???Then read more......

The first and the foremost thing that bothers us the most when we wake up is undoubtedly our "unruly hair"

so Im gonna give you some tips how to manage your hair, from the very next moment, you wake up in the morning!!

I have unmanageably curly and dry hair.. and when i wake up and look into the mirror... i feel like "This is definitely not me"...
So after so many Trials i gotto know "How to have great hair, from the moment i getup from my bed"

All you have to do is,implement the below steps and enjoy the day!!

  >>wash your hair in the morning rather than the evening. That way your hair will look great all day long!

>>If you tend to be in a rush in the morning and you don’t have time to wash your hair, wash it in the evening, but make sure you dry it before going to sleep. This will stop you from having to battle with frizz, unwanted waves or curled up hair the next day.

>>“Though it’s best to wash your hair in the morning, what happens on the second day? The lifeless effect is often unavoidable… So to liven it up a bit, get up, turn your head upside down and re-boost your hair’s volume at the roots using your fingers.” You can also use styling products, such as a styling mousse, to boost your hair

I prefer Enliven's ultra hold mousse..Its quite affordable and it gave me good results!!

To make sure your hair is looking lovely from the moment you wake up, it’s important you untangle it before going to bed. “Brushing and untangling your hair at the end of the day is just as important as taking your make-up off at night. Brushing your hair will get rid of impurities and any residue from the hair products you’ve used.” This will stop it from knotting overnight or looking dull when you wake up!

*8 WONDERFUL NATURAL OILS YOUR HAIR WILL LOVE ...

Photo: 7 WONDERFUL NATURAL OILS YOUR HAIR WILL LOVE ...

Natural oils for hair are an absolute must-try for all of those tempted to experiment with natural hair care! They smell great, nurture, soothe, they will make your hair strong and help you to grow it longer and healthier. So are you ready to give essential oils for hair a shot? Well, here are some you’ll most certainly want to use:

1. LAVENDER OIL

Great-smelling, soothing and relaxing – lavender oils is one of the best natural oils for hair! And when I say «hair» I mean literally all hair types! This wonderful oil is a common ingredient of many both skin care and hair care products not only because its wonderful smell but also because it prevents hair loss, treats many skin conditions and works wonders against excess sebum. The sad fact is that lavender oil used nowadays isn’t as «real» as they would want us to think which means you’ll be better off buying your supplies in the pharmacy than relying on big cosmetic companies.

Application: Massage into a scalp either alone or mixed with other oils.

2. ROSEMARY OIL

Natural hair care recipes often include rosemary and I’m going to explain why so you can really understand how extremely beneficial it is. You see, apart from smelling great, this oil also possesses antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral properties which make it a perfectly natural relief for many skin conditions. It also helps gray and/or thin hair regain its natural volume and color and it is widely known as one of the very few natural cures for alopecia areata.

Application: Same as Lavender oil.

3. CASTOR OIL

Okay, well this certainly is one of my favorite natural products and once you give it a try, I bet you’ll love it too! Castor oil is basically a vegetable oil derived from castor bean and, although many might recognize it as a laxative only, it would be unfair to forget its other benefits. This oil feeds and nurtures hair making it shinier and stronger and it also does wonders for hair growth as well as nails and eyelashes.

Application: Massage into the scalp to boost hair growth or work into your dry, damaged tresses for instant repair.

4. SAGE OIL

Sage essential oil is also one of those absolutely fabulous natural oils for hair I simply can’t allow myself not to mention! Applying it on your hair might make it turn a shade darker which makes it a perfectly natural dyeing option as well as ideal way of dealing with premature graying issues. But wait, the story doesn’t end there! Sage is also very famous for its anti-fungal, antibacterial and soothing properties as well as the ability to infuse hair with natural, healthy shine!

Application: Mix with other oils to create natural hair care treatments or apply alone.

5. CARROT SEED OIL

Speaking about awesome essential oils for hair – you simply must give carrot seed oil a shot! And since this oil can be used in so many different, healthy ways, I’m absolutely sure you won’t regret it. You can use it to improve the overall condition of your dry or aged skin, to ensure healthy undisturbed hair growth or even add it in your food to detoxify your body and prevent gas.

Application: Massage this oil into your scalp to ensure healthy skin and boost hair growth or work it into your ends to repair all repairable splits and/or damage.

6. BASIL OIL

Mixing essential oils to create potent infusions or adding individual oils to either directly your hair or your shampoo/conditioner is a good natural hair care routine to try out. And basil is here to help you achieve that steady hair growth you’ve always dreamed of! When used regularly, basil oil improves the overall condition of the scalp as well, creating a healthy, balanced environment necessary for optimal hair growth.

Application: Basil oil mixes well with both water and other essential oils so it can be either mixed with your shampoo/conditioner and used regularly or combined with other oils and used as a powerful invigorating and nurturing treatment.

7. JOJOBA OIL

The last on my list of natural oils for hair worth checking out is this wonderful oil many of you recognize as a so-called carrier oil. It works wonders for brittle hair that breaks off easily and it’s also a carrier which means you can mix it with all these other oils to create your own hair-care mixtures.

Application: Add a few drops of other essential oils to Jojoba oil and apply to your hair and scalp.

So which one of these wonderful oils for hair are you going to incorporate in your natural hair care routine?

INGREDIENTS THAT ARE GREAT FOR YOUR HAIR!!

INGREDIENTS THAT ARE GREAT FOR YOUR HAIR!!

Your shampoos, masks and other hair-care products contain many different ingredients, which all have different effects on your hair. Here’s a look at the main effects of these ingredients that make up your favourite care products.

>Keratin:

Keratin is definitely the star ingredient. It does wonders to your hair thanks to its many advantageous properties. Since keratin acts on many levels, it leaves hair shinier and more supple. It also thickens hair by filling in ‘gaps’ in the hair shaft. This makes styling much easier. Keratin Therapy which has a long-lasting effect ,”

>Oil and protien serum:
There are also many oils that come to our rescue. Jojoba oil has the best hair softening properties. It makes untangling and styling easier but can also be used on the ends for hydration. “Similarly, you can also try sweet almond oil and olive oil which nourish fragile or simply dehydrated hair.” But don’t go overboard, as these oils can weigh-down your hair. To add extra shine, there is silk protein. but don’t use protein-based products exclusively.” Try out Revayur oil,, that is what im currently experimenting with!

HOW TO USE BUNGEE BANDS

HOW TO USE BUNGEE BANDS

Have u heard of Bungee Bands!!!
Professional hair stylists are huge fans of the bungee band. But for many of you, using them is rare and employing them correctly remains a mystery. But this tool is one of the most effective accessories when it comes to tying up your hair.

The hair bungee looks like a normal hair band, except that the two ends don’t meet and are instead fitted with little hooks. “Very simple to use, it is primarily used for ponytails. You can still cover it up afterwards with another accessory or by wrapping your hair around it into a BUN

The bungee band can also be used to hold other up-dos firmly in place.

>“With a standard hair band you wrap it round two or three times, and it doesn’t always hold very well, meaning that sometimes you’re re-tying your hair ten times a day. But with the bungee band, once it’s in place you don’t need to worry!”

>The bungee band should be used on dry hair, as on wet hair it may leave marks. But in either case it does not damage the hair. “To put it in place correctly, take the hair you want to tie up, insert one hook into the base of your ponytail then wrap it round, holding the ponytail in place with your thumb. Once the band is nice and tight, insert the second hook into the base of the ponytail.”

> Make sure the hooks are hidden under the ponytail. Or use another accessory to cover them up.

>I got a packet of these bands as a gift from my Hubby"z client,, Amanda who was from United States!
I really dint know how to wear it on my hair!! until i "googled" about it!!

 >It is available in AMAZON.com starting from $1!!

>Hurry to grab yours!!

 Caution:
----------Anyone can use bungee bands, except maybe people with really fine hair are rebonded hair or ironed hair,, since it leaves a mark on ur hair ,, making it look "Awkward". MIX AND MATCH

Hello fashion bees!!

Have you eva tried to experiment with your shampoos and conditioners???

If not, then u definitely have to try it ASAP after u r done reading this post!!

yes!! I love to try different products and experiment with the mew products and i find which suits the best to my hair!!

My hair is very rough, totally frizzed out and irritatingly curly!! and when i say irritatingly curly"" it means that it totally bugs me a lot!! uff!!

So i started experimenting, to find the best,,,, so that i could at-least manage it :p

This is how my bathroom became space-less to accommodate all those stuffs!! and morethan that my hair loss was terribly high!!

So finally, it was such a hard journey i came through to discover what my hair needs!!

My now im currently using a mix and match combo to quench my hairs thirst lol

Here it is!!!

*Toni & guy frizz smoothing curl shampoo
*Tresemme climate control conditioner for frizz prone hair

These are the two products that i have currently settled down with :p

make a note: ""its currently"" coz my research is not yet over :)

HOW TO USE:

> First wet your hair and then squeeze of  quite a moderate amount of Toni & guy frizz smoothing curl shampoo and spread it well in your hair and scalp , lather up and then rinse it off!!

>After washing off the shampoo from ur hair, squeeze out excess water from your hair and then take a adequate amount of tresemme climate control conditioner and apply it from the mid length of ur hair and spread it all over the hairs length!!

>finally leave the conditioner for some 2-4 minutes and then wash it off!!

>Then u can style it with ur favorite gel or hair mousse!!

Note:

>Do not rinse off the conditioner entirely, make sure u leave a lil amount of it stay in your hair to give ur hair some shine and softy touch

>The toni & guy shampoo is quite costlier!! 75ml costs nearly 200 and one drawback is that it doesnt lather that well!! so i consume it in large amounts irrespective of the cost!!

>I got tresemme for 225ml @ 128 INR which is a reasonable price!!

>I ordered both from Medplus beauty website!!

i"m still hunting for a better shampoo than Toni & guy!!

But for now!!1 im gonna stick to it until i get a better one!!

Do suggest me if you know any other mix and match combo!!?????????

AMAZING TIPS ZONE: WINTER TIPS FOR CURLY HAIR                        ...: WINTER TIPS FOR CURLY HAIR                                        1. PREP HAIR BEFORE COVERING IT UP. The roots of your curl...
WINTER TIPS FOR CURLY HAIR

Photo: WINTER TIPS FOR CURLY HAIR

Whether you've got soft waves or tight ringlets, as winter approaches it’s time to switch the way you care for and style your hair. That wash and wear 'do you could sport in the summer won't work in freezing temperatures. Not to mention, hat hair takes on a whole different meaning for girls with curls. So we chatted with Jack Martin at Salon Ritz in Tustin CA about the most important tricks for this season.

1. PREP HAIR BEFORE COVERING IT UP.

The roots of your curls can be flattened by a hat, hood, scarf, or earmuffs. "To prevent this, apply gel directly to a hair clip or bobby pin. Then place the clip or pin at the roots of the hair perpendicular to the scalp," suggests Jack. "This keeps the roots elevated while the opposing weight—what you’re covering your curls with—is pressing down on them. After taking off your outerwear, use two hands to remove the clips or bobby pins." (That is, hold the hair with one hand and remove the clip or pin with the other so as not to rip or pull your strands.)

2. GIVE YOUR ENDS EXTRA ATTENTION.

"The ends of your curly hair can get extra parched in winter because of the friction created when your hair rubs against things like wool and other heavy fabrics" says Jack. Because curly hair is naturally extra dry, this just makes matters worse. "Be sure to condition the ends of your hair in the shower, and to leave some conditioner on them rather than rinsing it all out. Also, seal the ends with a silicone-free, alcohol-free product." You can warm up conditioner in the microwave before applying it to your hair—just make sure it’s not too hot. Also, “don’t over-scrunch the ends of wet hair when you get out of the shower—it removes too much moisture. Instead, slip into a terry cloth robe or hoodie to temporarily catch drips before using a diffuser."

3. BE CAREFUL WHEN PUTTING ON AND TAKING OFF YOUR COAT AND SCARF.

"Hair gets trapped under a jacket or scarf, and if you tug at the hair or rip it out from under these things, it can rip and fray," says Jack. "The same goes for hair that gets trapped under the strap of your handbag, so first lift your handbag strap and then move your hair off your shoulder."

4. BLOW-DRY WITH EXTRA CARE.

"If the weather is freezing and you can’t leave the house with wet hair, you can use a blow-dryer, but only do so with a diffuser on low to medium heat and don’t touch your hair with hands or a brush," says Jack. "If possible, use a diffuser without blowing them around and causing frizz. Or use a free-standing hooded dryer.” Another option? “If you drive to work, turn the heat on in the car. This creates a little micro-climate that allows moisture from the products in your hair to lock in faster, keeps the hair cuticle closed, and evaporates the water.”

5. NOURISH HAIR WITH A HOMEMADE BREW.

Whip this up at home so that you can nourish the ends of your hair. "Combine one to three teaspoons of olive oil, jojoba oil, or shea butter with two to four drops of pure essential oil like lavender, verbena, or vanilla and apply this to the ends of your hair," says Jack. "Cover your hair turban-style with a plastic wrap and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Then combine the juice of one large lemon with your usual amount of conditioner and use this to rinse the oil mixture thoroughly from your hair."

"Cover your hair turban-style with a plastic wrap and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Then combine the juice of one large lemon with your usual amount of conditioner and use this to rinse the oil mixture thoroughly from your hair."

YUP!!! U DEFINITELY NEED A NEW HAIRCUT ...

YUP!!! U DEFINITELY NEED A NEW HAIRCUT ...

The symptoms that occurs when you are in need fora new haircut aren’t that difficult to read! The usual ones, such as split ends, lack of volume or the fact that your layers seem to have declared a war against each other, are really easy to spot and deal with accordingly yet that’s not where the story ends! And these listed below definitely fall under this last category and are something you should definitely stay on a lookout for:

BOREDOM?

Same hairstyle day in, day out is one of those signs that tells you need a new haircut ASAP! And whether we’re talking about a ponytail or something more complicated such as a blowout or straight, flat ironed hair – in case that’s the only thing you ever do with your hair regardless of the occasion or season, you should definitely consider refreshing your cut.

NO MORE COMPLIMENTS FROM LOVED ONES?

Girls tend to compliment each other on their hair all the time! New hairstyle, new hair color, the fact that your hair looks a bit different – nothing can escape the watchful eye of your loved ones! Hey, they’ll even compliment you on the fact that your hair looks exceptionally healthy or has an interesting glow under certain light! And a sudden absence of such compliments really ought to be a red-flag. It may be hard to notice at first, especially if the compliments seem to move from your hair and focus on other things such as outfits, but you’re bound to notice it sooner or later!

STARTED ENVYING?

Secretly envying girls or celebrities that are dynamic enough to change their cuts every few months is yet another sign that you need a fresh cut! Don’t ignore the urge- embrace it instead, regardless of how scary the thought of changing something you’re used to seems to be. Listen to that inner voice telling you it’s about time for a change and don’t be afraid to act on it.

BEGINNING YOUR CAREER?

Every new, big change in your life deserves a hairstyle update which means that you’ll probably want to change your style a bit before you start high school or college, once you graduate and start mailing resumes or find a really promising job. A new cut can also help you turn a new leaf, regain your confidence after a long period of hardship

 GETTING OLDER?

Consider a new cut the moment your old one becomes a source of bad feelings instead of one more reason to give yourself a “Hello, gorgeous!” every time you catch your reflection in the mirror! After all, a haircut is supposed to help you look better and styling it is supposed to be a joyful experience

Recognized a sign that you need a fresh cut? Well, don’t ignore it! Treat yourself with a brand new look before your boyfriend tells "no" to u!!! ROFL :))))))))

TOP TIPS FOR HEALTHY HAIR

Healthy Hair is something that we all long for, yet it can be rather elusive. Instead of shining tresses full of life, we end up with limp locks. Our hair is such a significant part of our appearance that when we´re not happy with it, we feel dispirited. So what can you do to turn your hellish hair into your crowning glory? Try these top tips for healthy hair …
1. LIMIT HEAT
Heat is the enemy of happy hair. As much as possible, try to limit the use of heated appliances on your hair. If you use a hairdryer and straighteners every day, your hair will soon end up dry, brittle and prone to breakages. So wherever possible, let your hair dry naturally
2. DIET
Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables provide the vitamins, and eat enough protein (which is, after all, what hair is made of).
3. LIMIT PRODUCTS
As with skin, you can end up using quite a number of products to style your hair. However, it´s best to limit what you use, and how frequently you use it. Excessive use of products can make your hair dull, plus cause your scalp to become flaky. So then you have to use special shampoos to remove the build-up of products.
4. SUN PROTECTION
Most people don´t even consider that their hair needs protection from the sun, just like their skin.  So when you´re on holiday, or if you live in a hot climate, wear a hat or use a sun protection spray so that you have healthy hair.
5. BRUSH
A quality brush is a good investment to keep your hair healthy; a cheap one risks breaking it. Also brush your hair before washing it; this not only removes the loose hairs (and stops them blocking the sink), but also gets rid of some of the dirt. Also remember: never brush your hair when it´s wet, but use a wide-toothed comb.
6. MASSAGE
Are you trying to grow your hair? Gentle massage will help stimulate the hair follicles (as well as being rather pleasant and relaxing). Besides, we are constantly growing new hairs to replace the old ones, so massage will help produce healthy new hairs.
Healthy hair doesn´t have to be a dream only seen in shampoo ads (which are obviously heavily Photoshopped). There are a lot of ways to keep your hair looking great that are far more accessible. Hair needs to be treated well and not abused with overuse of products and heated appliances.
Have you found any tips, like supplements, that give you beautifully healthy hair?

*How To  Boost your Self Esteem!!! here it goe;;;;;;;;;s

If you’re like most women then you probably like to improve your look with a variety of hair styles. Hairstyles not only improve your look, but can also boost your self-esteem. If you’ve been feeling down in the dumps lately and feel like your confidence is at an all-time low, the best thing you can do might just be to head to your favorite salon.

1-The Importance of Hair Style

If you want to enhance your physical appearance, then there is no doubt that your hair style is one of the factors that you should consider. In fact, if you flip through beauty magazines or watch entertainment programs, you will see how much emphasis the media puts on the ever-changing hair styles of celebrities. To look your most attractive, it is simply not enough to have the right outfit, makeup or accessories. Your hair style is one of the things that people will notice about you, so it’s important that you work on it.
The importance of a good hair style goes beyond improving your appearance. Your hairstyle can also affect the way other people perceive you. For instance, if you regularly go to work with disheveled and unkempt hair, then you will give off the impression that you’re someone who does not prioritize grooming or even hygiene. Your hair style also plays a big role in your level of confidence. Try to remember the last time you had a bad hair day. Didn’t you spend the day feeling self conscious and uncomfortable?

2-Choosing the Best Hair Style

Now that you know how important hair styles are, it’s time to determine which one will help you look your best. It’s not enough to tell your stylist that you want to look beautiful. It’s important that you know what you want to achieve with your new hair style. The more specific you are, the more your stylist will be able to give you the best look. Before heading down to the salon, determine first what hair style will look best on you.

3-Know Your Face Shape

Tie your hair back and stand in front of a mirror. Now begin examining your face to find out what your face shape is. Your face shape is the biggest factor to consider when choosing a new hair style. If your face has the ideal oval shape, then you are one of the lucky ones who can try any hair style. If you have a long face then you can balance it with shoulder-length hair styles. If you prefer longer styles, get one with plenty of layers. If you have a full and round face, then your hair style should extend below your chin. Layers around your cheeks can also make your face look slimmer. Try to avoid chin-length cuts and bangs, because these can make your face look fuller. If you have a square-shaped face then your goal should be to soften it. You can do so by choosing hairstyles with waves and curls. When going for a layered look, keep the layers within the same length as your jawline. Shoulder-length hair with layers below the chin looks best if you have a heart-shaped face.

So i hope you would have enjoyed reading about how your hairstyle would bring confidence and boldness in you...thereby increasing your self esteem!!!
